The following describes the procedure for being allowed to run sofwares on the Intercell Cluster. This has to be done once, at your first connection at Supélec.

Having an account at Supélec

Contact for the creation of an account at Supélec. You will have to fill in administrative forms.

Configure you account

Everything runs under linux. You can use any workstation from which your account is accessible. Log-in, and then type

Copy the following stuff (in green) in bashrc (i.e. the file you have just opened), and save it.

export PARXXL_LIB_PATH=/opt/intercell/parxxl/lib/linux/gcc/x86_64/core2
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/opt/intercell/lib
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/opt/intercell/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/intercell/parxxl/lib/pkgconfig
export PATH=$PATH:/opt/intercell/bin:/opt/intercell/parxxl/bin:/opt/openmpi/bin
export MPIROOT=/opt/openmpi/

Then, make .profile have the same content.

Configure ssh

The ssh software allows a secured access to the cluster. It has to be set up as follows :

(Just press enter key when ssh-keygen asks something). Then edit the file config as follows :

In the file you have just opened, put the following green stuff, ended with several empty lines, and save.
